Saturday started with a trip to church to decorate the sunday school window for harvest, followed by a picnic at the park, where this little daredevil delighted in showing off to her Nana and the much bigger children on the zip wire.

Autumn - what Autumn?!
After my previous post about hot chocolate and jumpers this weekend's weather was a bit of a surprise, but one we had a whale of a time enjoying.
Saturday started with a trip to church to decorate the sunday school window for harvest, followed by a picnic at the park, where this little daredevil delighted in showing off to her Nana and the much bigger children on the zip wire.
And this bigger one conquered her fear and climbed the wall, twice just to prove it wasn't a fluke, she is so proud that she can do it now, it's great to see her physical confidence grow, as she has noticed Isobel's fearlessness (the only thing stopping Izzy climbing the same wall is that she can't reach the bottom handholds!) and has been feeling a little left out.
We also enjoyed not bothering with the swings and slides and just rolling down the slopes.
Then Sunday was harvest festival at church, which was lovely as Father Mark made bread for his sermon and let all the children help. Followed by an impromptu bbq to harvest our grapes. We got loads, this isn't even half, so I'm planning jam (or jelly), cordial and even some wine :-)
