2011

I've chosen a picture for each month of the year, and have to say I had rather too much fun mooching through all the pictures, and rather a hard job picking just 12!

All in all last year was ok, work was difficult and I've lost a lot of really good friends as a result of the changes (we're still in touch but it's just not them same as seeing them everyday) and of course we said a sad goodbye our beloved boy. But there have been lots of nice things too, not least my two precious girls who've grown up so much this year. It seems like we're well and truly passed the baby baby phase and I have two rapidly growing little girls, who play together more and fight less that a few month ago. We've also got stuff accomplished home wise and mostly, I feel the balance that was totally missing is coming back, not all the time, but enough that it feels ok.

January - a special little girl is 2! (I seriously can't believe this was nearly a year ago!)

February - Chinese New Year - dragons :-)

March - a special bigger girl is 5! (and already really can't wait to be 6)

April - the annual bluebell woods picture.

May - a day frolicking in the Clent Hills to celebrate my days birthday.

June - paddling pool weather and a special boy taking the opportunity for a lick of a lolly.

July - sunny family walks and picnics.

August - a much needed and very lovely holiday.

September - leaf play on the way home from school :-)

October - Halloween and Autumn crafts.

November - a sad month as we said goodbye to our special boy, but also filled with cosy family time.
December - these two really do love each other very much.

So with that we look forward to another year. There are things that I hope get better over the next 12 months, mostly work related, and there are things I hope continue to develop, notably this lovely friendship between my girls and there are new things I want to do and try (really want a go at needle felting) so I'm really looking forward to a fresh year and a fresh start.

  1. It is hard to pick just 12, don't think I made it this year either! Last year I merged together a few photos a month.

Wishing you a great 2012, you've come through 2011 ups and downs - hopefully more ups in the year ahead for you. I can heartily recommend needle felting - great fun!

Happy New Year to you all xxx
